A position has become available for a Site Foreman. The following requirements as a guideline:

No construction related experience is necessary. All training will be done on the job.Should be in possession of a minimum code 08 licence.Candidate must be able to speak English and Afrikaans.

Candidate should have strong admin skills.Candidate must be well presented as the job entails working with clients.Even though age is not of concern, candidate should still have plenty of energy and a willingness to work.

How is your week going?

Remember what the main principles from last week’s teaching “Called to Work” were :

·         Work is a first class calling from God

·         Ultimately we work for God and not for man

·         God will give us practical help and wisdom for our work

·         We are to reflect His glory through our working lives

·         We need to let go of what we can do in our own understanding and hard work and to lean on Jesus

·         Jesus wants us to see what He can do

·         We should be depending on God and humbling ourselves to receive His grace

Some practical to do’s:

·         Work for God’s pleasure

·         Ask that Jesus be glorified in your work

·         All the resources of Heaven are available for you – you access these by exercising Faith

There are a lot of people having a really tough time at work at the moment. Please remember each other and pray for each other. Support each other where you can.

This prayer may be helpful for you in your circumstances at the moment:

Lord, renew your spirit in our lives,

So that we may see our work

Through your eyes.

Let’s get serious about prayer!

 

As of Friday the 11^th February the Prayer Room will be open every Friday from 17h00 to 20h00.

 

Bring friends family and children.

 

The best way to take our lives and the Church further is through prayer. Let’s start a Friday culture of prayer at Northfield.

 

People can come for an hour and then still relax at home or go out.

 

There will be no agendas or pre organized programs. Come and pray for whatever the Spirit of God puts on your heart.

 

Let’s call on our God with new vigor and expectation.
